What is API 5L GRB pipeline pipe

What is API 5L GRB pipeline pipe?

API 5L GRB line pipe is a type of steel pipe used in the oil and gas industry with the following characteristics:

Standard compliance: This line pipe follows the API Spec 5L standard set by the American Petroleum Institute (API).

According to PSL{{0}} grade, the L245/B steel grade of the pipeline pipe has the chemical composition requirements of C Less than or equal to 0.28%, Mn Less than or equal to 1.20%, P Less than or equal to 0.030%, S Less than or equal to 0.030%, Nb+V+Ti Less than or equal to 0.15%, Cu Less than or equal to 0.50%, Ni Less than or equal to 0.50%, Cr Less than or equal to 0.50%, Mo Less than or equal to 0.15%.
PSL{{0}} grade is more stringent, such as L245N/BN steel grade, C Less than or equal to 0.24%, Si Less than or equal to 0.4{{10}}%, Mn Less than or equal to 1.20%, P Less than or equal to 0.{{20}}25%, S Less than or equal to 0.015%, Nb + V + Ti Less than or equal to 0.06%, Ti Less than or equal to 0.04%, Cu Less than or equal to 0.50%, Ni Less than or equal to 0.30%, Cr Less than or equal to 0.30%, Mo Less than or equal to 0.15%, B Less than or equal to 0.004%.

Yield strength of PSL-1 grade Greater than or equal to 245MPa, tensile strength Greater than or equal to 425MPa.
The yield strength of PSL{{0}} grade ranges from 245MPa to 450MPa, the tensile strength from 415MPa to 655MPa, and the yield to strength ratio Less than or equal to 0.93.

Specific specifications include L245/B, L245N/BN, L245M/BM, etc. These different steel grades are adapted to different industrial needs.
